My outfit for the opera
My friend Suzanne is an opera singer here in San Jose. Yesterday was not only her bridal shower, but last night was her opening performance for Pirates of Penzance, where she played Edith, the second sister.
Of course, I took the opportunity to get dressed up. I'm wearing a necklace and skirt that I made, rubber 80's bracelets (probably my favorite accessories ever) and a corset I found at Charlotte Russe of all places, a few years ago.
This shot shows the length of the skirt and the back of the corset. I love the long satin ribbon that comes down the back. The floral print is just so pretty, too!
When it got a little cooler out, I wore a little black shrug over the top. I really enjoyed this outfit, and got lots of compliments from Dave & Zanne's families and friends.
